ADAM J. ZELLNER

FINANCE AND GOVERNMENT RELATIONS EXPERT

Adam Zellner is the former Policy Director for the State of New Jersey. In this role, Adam oversaw policy development for Governor Jon S. Corzine and co- authored the State's Energy Master Plan. Prior to joining the Governor's staff, Adam served as the Deputy Commissioner for Policy and Legislative Affairs for the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), was the inaugural Executive Director of the New Jersey Highlands Council and is the former Executive Director of the New Jersey Office of Smart Growth. Adam also served as State Director to Congressman Steve Rothman, who represents the 9th Congressional District of New Jersey encompassing parts of Bergen, Hudson and Passaic counties. In addition, he has worked for a variety of State Legislators throughout his career. Adam earned a B.A. in Economics from Rowan University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Temple University.

JENNIFER A. SENICK

GREEN BUILDING AND SUSTAINABILITY PLANNING EXPERT

Jennifer Senick is the Founder and Executive Director of the Rutgers Center for Green Building at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Urban Planning and Policy Development, Rutgers University and a lecturer in the department in such areas as Urban Economics, Environmental Planning and Green Building. She is an experienced urban planner and was trained in Political Science, Economics and Public Policy from Bowdoin College, the University of California, Los Angeles and the Rand Corporation (BA, MA, ABD). Ms. Senick's research interests include sustainable development and green building; she specializes in the areas of Building Life Cycle Analysis, Building Performance Evaluation and Occupancy Survey research. A resident of Highland Park, New Jersey Ms. Senick served as a Commissioner of the Borough's Redevelopment Agency from 2004-2008 and is a member of the Borough's Green Community Working Group. She is a graduate of the 2004 class of Leadership New Jersey, co-founder of the New Jersey State League of Municipalities Mayors Committee for a Green Future and serves as an Advisor to the New Jersey Chapter of the US Green Building Council, the NJ NAIOP Energy Master Plan Taskforce, and as a juror on the NJ Smart Growth Alliance. She is also an editorial board member of Brownfield News & Sustainability Report and a steering committee member of the Database for Analyzing Sustainable High Performance Buildings (DASH) initiative of the Green Building Alliance.

CHUCK FEINBERG

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

Chuck Feinberg is an environmental and energy consultant with a broad professional, technical and business background. Chuck has twice started up and successfully developed New Jersey offices for national engineering consulting organizations, has been an integral part of the development team for several alternative fuel and renewable energy projects, and has had leadership roles on numerous environmental, engineering and construction projects. Chuck is a co-founder and Chairman of the nonprofit US Department of Energy's NJ Clean Cities Coalition (NJCCC), which promotes alternative fuels and advanced vehicles, fuel blends, fuel economy, hybrid vehicles, and idle reduction initiatives. Chuck co-chaired Governor Corzine's Task Force on Electric Vehicles, and is a member of the North Jersey Transportation Management Authority Climate Change Workgroup, and of the Northeast Diesel Collaborative Construction Workgroup. He is a co-founder of the Environmental Business Council of the Commerce & Industry Association of New Jersey, and is a member of the Rockaway Township Environmental Commission. He has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Tufts University, a Law Degree from New York Law School, and is admitted to the Bar in New Jersey and New York.

TIMOTHY D. VAN EPP

SUSTAINABILITY PLANNER

Tim Van Epp has 30 years of experience in environmental consulting providing environmental planning and management services to a wide variety of public and private clients in the United States and internationally. During this time, he has been continuously responsible for developing and managing projects ranging in value at $10,000 to $75 million. Tim has held significant domestic and international positions for major environmental consulting firms. He spent 12 years at CH2M Hill International where he was the industrial environmental manager for the company's international division. He also spent 11 years as Managing Director of Eurasia Environmental Associates, a firm he founded to provide environmental planning services to clients in the transition economies of Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, and East Asia. Tim graduated cum laude from Duke University with a B.S. degree in zoology in 1974 and received his Masters in Regional Planning (Ecological Planning) from the University of Pennsylvania in 1977.

NICHOLAS MINDERMAN

LEED AP, SUSTAINABILITY CONSULTANT

Nick Minderman brings a background in engineering and building to Greener by Design. Prior experiences in sustainable building include complete building life cycle analysis and development of performance evaluation tools. As a staff engineer at URS in Rochester, NY, Nick was part of the design and construction supervision team for a large solid waste facility in central New York. Nick holds a Master's of Community and Regional Planning from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University, emphasizing physical and environmental planning. In addition, Nick holds a Master's of Science in Built Environment from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden and a Bachelor of Geological Engineering from the University of Minnesota.

KERRY KELLY

DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Kerry Kelly contributes business development, vendor partnering, general contracting, and finance to the Greener by Design team. Kerry is owner of NextLevel Projects, LLC, a licensed general contracting firm in New Jersey. Before starting NextLevel, he was a partner with Southwind Technical Services, LLC and Vice President with Southwind Associates. Southwind Tech was a web application design and consulting firm. Kerry was responsible for business and infrastructure development, and design oversight. Southwind Associates is a private wealth management company where Kerry managed client money and marketed a hedge fund-of-funds. Prior to this, Kerry spent 16 years as Sales Consultant for SYNTHES, specializing in orthopedic fracture equipment. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from State University of New York, Oneonta.
