Chuck Feinberg is
co-founder and Chairman of the nonprofit US Department of Energy’s NJ
Clean Cities Coalition (NJCCC), which promotes alternative fuels and
advanced vehicles, fuel blends, fuel economy, hybrid vehicles, and idle
reduction initiatives. For NJCCC Mr. Feinberg lead a successful proposal
effort, and is now managing a $15 million US DOE grant for the
conversion of fleets of heavy duty vehicles to CNG and the installation
of several CNG fueling stations across NJ. Additionally, he facilitates a
State-level interagency task force and a private sector work group on
Electric Vehicles, is a member of the North Jersey Transportation
Management Authority Climate Change Workgroup, and of the Northeast
Diesel Collaborative Construction Workgroup. He is a co-founder of the
Environmental Business Council of the Commerce & Industry
Association of New Jersey, and has been a member of the Rockaway
Township Environmental Commission. Previously, Mr. Feinberg has twice
started up and successfully developed New Jersey offices for national
engineering consulting organizations, has been an integral part of the
development team for several alternative fuel and renewable energy
projects, and has had leadership roles on numerous environmental,
engineering and construction projects. He has a Bachelor of Science in
Engineering from Tufts University, a Law Degree from New York Law
School, and is admitted to the Bar in New Jersey and New York.
